National Call Center for Victims of Crime – 116 006
National Call Centre for Victims of Crime (NCC) – 116 006 is available to adult victims and witnesses of all types of crime and misdemeanors and their family members in the Republic of Croatia. Support is provided over the phone, 24/7 every day, including weekends, holidays and other non-working days. Victims can also contact the NCC through the chat service on workdays from 8AM to 10 PM. In addition to Croatian, support is also provided in English.
The scope of the 116 006 helpline includes:
- informing victims and witnesses of crime and misdemeanors about their rights and the course of crinimal and misdemeanor proceedings
- providing emotional support
- referal to relevant civil society organizations and institutions
- providing various practical information related to criminal and misdemeanor proceedings and other proceedings in which victims and witnesses seek to exercise their rights
- assistance in completing the form for financial compensation
